If I had a penny for each time a business owner has said "it would be much easier without all these Employment rules" I'd be sitting on a beach with a butler bringing cocktails instead of in my office with a mug of tea!
We have always had Employment Law - and it's about to get tougher. The Employment Rights Bill is currently going through Parliament. There are going to be fundamental changes which will mean most policies will need rewriting and all Employment Contracts will need rewriting.
When is it going to happen? The latest guidance has 18 months of consultation starting now, with the first laws coming into place from Summer 2026.
If you want to know how to prepare for the changes - sign up for my newsletter. I won't bombard you, but I will let you know when you need to do something or when changes are coming.

However, with the Employment Rights Bill coming in soon, the majority of my suite of policies will need to be updated.
