If I had a penny for each time a business owner has said "it would be much easier without all these Employment rules" I'd be sitting on a desert island instead of in my office!
We have always had Employment Law - and it's about to get tougher. The Employment Rights Bill is currently going through Parliament. There are going to be fundamental changes which will mean most policies will need rewriting and all Employment Contracts will need rewriting.
When is it going to happen? Best guess Autumn 2025 we should have a clearer idea of what the bill includes - consultation is still happening so it's changing by the week.
